If you represent a student government, or an organization interested in the betterment of your school (i.e. PTSA, school based management), we invite you to become an affiliate of the National Federation of American Students. By becoming an affiliate of NFAS you can collaborate with students, other student governments, and similar organizations across America. Additionally, your organization will become part of a national movement designed to improve education across the country. Affiliates show their community that they are serious about invoking change. To help you get started, NFAS offers website services, such as providing your organization with NFAS webspace where you can write about your school, your organization, and its goals. We thank you for your interest in becoming an NFAS affiliate, and we thank you for your interest in joining the NFAS community.
If there is not already an NFAS chapter at your school, please consider forming one. Once you do, you may associate your student government affiliate with your NFAS chapter. However, it is not necessary to have a chapter at your school to become an affiliate of NFAS.
Before attempting to apply, please make sure you meet the following guidelines:
- Your school must be a high school.
- Your organization must be devoted to the betterment of your school.
- Your school must be located within the United States of America.
If you and your school meet the above requirements, you may proceed with the registration process. A final determination about your eligibility will be made by NFAS.
